HECTOR FINCH SET TO LIGHT UP 2012

Hector Finch, the designer and manufacturer of high quality, individual decorative light fittings for the interiors market, is gearing up for an exciting end to 2011 and beginning of 2012.  New products, new initiatives and a new catalogue will provide the springboard for a significant expansion of the business.

The new catalogue is set for release in October together with a stream of new products which are currently in production.  Spring 2012 will herald the launch of a major new initiative which will see Hector Finch introduce a totally new brand offer.  2012 will also see them exhibit at Decorex for the first time.  Following on from their success in the USA where they have 7 showrooms across North America, expansion is also planned in South Africa, Russia and Europe.

The investment and innovations come at a time when provenance and Britishness, two strands at the heart of the Hector Finch offer, are very much ‘du jour’ with consumers and these strengths are set to be played upon in marketing efforts.

Emma Finch comments “We have hidden our light under a bushel for too long.  We make high quality products for private high wealth individuals, interior designers, architects and specifiers, top class hotels and restaurants and the luxury yacht market – and now we need to capitalise on that.

There will be a great British pull in 2012 and the country will be buzzing, both culturally and socially.  We are launching an Olympic lantern to celebrate the Olympic Games in London and there is the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee following on from the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.  We believe consumers will rediscover a passion for Made in Britain and we wish to capitalise on the patriotism and loyalty that will ignite.

The Hector Finch Lighting line consists of products that are individually hand crafted by English and European artisans in a time consuming and highly skilled process.  We use the highest quality materials and the quality of the castings and engineering of our range is second to none.”

The Hector Finch Bamboo Lights can be seen on Stand H269 while their signature chandelier, The Sophie, will be lighting up the Decorex Library in 2011.
